Being a daughter of a diplomat, I grew up in a number of countries, amongst people of varied cultures and ethnicities. This gives me cultural contexts to assist and help people from all backgrounds with empathy. Being an immigrant myself has given me a broad perspective of the challenges inherent in immigration law. For the past twelve years I have focused my practice on all types of employment-based visas, assisting organizations and skilled professionals in developing their careers in the United States. I am deeply passionate about my clients’ immigration law needs and their naturalization journeys. I love listening to my clients’ stories and providing ethical solutions with the understanding of an immigrant who has herself gone through the arduous process.
I am licensed to practice law both in the U.S. and India and am fluent in English, Urdu/Hindi, and Punjabi and conversational in Spanish and French.
I have a BA LL.B (hons.) from the National Law School of India University and an LL.M from Temple University Law School. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the New York Bar Association.
